Bossing teams

This will be about which character is good in a bossing team! Each team will have some kind of name.

Don't think that the setups are set in stone. Try to customize these teams a little.

The Independents
These characters can heal very well without the need of a Bishop. If you can boost their defense, they can be very dangerous together.
Mercedes, Jett, Kanna, Hayato/Aran, Kaiser, Demon Slayer/Avenger.

The Reflectors
These characters can damage reflect or have attacks that can ignore damage reflect.
Paladin, Hero, Demon Slayer, Xenon, Kaiser, ???

The Crushers
Just a team of brutal power.
Kaiser, Angelic Buster, Hero (with a Demon Slayer Link Skill), Aran, Demon Slayer/Avenger, Battle Mage/Buccaneer.

The Hurricane of Damages
They can deal massive DPS.
Dual Blade/Phantom, Mercedes/Jett, Kaiser, Corsair, Bow Master, Buccaneer.

The Protectors
These characters are good for support.
Battle Mage, Luminous, Bishop, Paladin, Dark Knight, Shadower/Night Lord.

MapleStory Scrolls info

As you can see. There are upgrade counts on equips, this count decreases as you use scrolls on your equips. Depending on the scroll you use, it might decrease by 1, 3 or 6 points. So plan carefully how you use them!

There are scrolls for all types of equips. Most rings don't have upgrade counts (excluding the Tempest ring).

Scrolls... ahh... So many types of scrolls there are! Let's start with the basic ones!

100% scrolls are green. Unless there is a big glitch, it works 100% of the time.

60% scrolls are red. They work at a 60% rate, however, I've heard people already failed to scroll 3 times in a row with these (REALLY unlucky). 0_0

10% scrolls are yellow. The risk to fail is high but is quite rewarding if successful!

Azwan 60% scrolls. These scrolls can only be found in Azwan, you can buy them from shops for Azwan coins there. The thing with these scrolls is that they're stronger than the normal 60% scrolls but... there's a catch. They chomp down your upgrade count A LOT! But if luck is on your side, you might be quite happy about the results...

Azwan 45% scrolls. Same thing as the previous one except it chomps even MORE upgrade counts.

Potential scrolls. This scroll can give your equips potential at a 50% rate. If it fails, kiss your equip good bye.

Enhancement scrolls. This scroll enhance your equips. The rate at which the scrolling is successful will decrease the more enhancements you do on the item. If it succeeds good for you, but if it fails... The success rate is as follow:80%, 70%, 60%, 50%, 40%, 30%, 20%, 10%.

Advanced Potential scrolls. Same thing as the normal version except it works at a 90% rate.

Advanced Enhancement scrolls. Same thing as the normal version except it works at a 90% rate the first time. Then it drops to 80% ETC...

Special Potential scrolls. They work at a 100% rate. Unless there is a glitch, it works just fine and shouldn't bust your equip. Available in events only.

Special Enhancement scrolls They work at a 100% rate when first used. Then it drops to 90% ETC... Available in events only.

NOTE:The enhancement scrolls can be used only on equips that are fully scrolled (0 upgrade count).

NOTE 2:Only Azwan scrolls (for now at least) uses 3 or 6 upgrade counts.

Scrolls of doom(that's how I call em at least...)

25% dark scrolls. They work at a 25% rate, however... if it fails it will DESTROY your item.

Special items

There are items that act as some type of scrolls for certain items. Take for example the "Dominator Pendant", there is a stone (forgot the name... -_-) that ONLY works on it and no other item.

I'm pretty there are others but I've never seen them (even for the stone it took a while for me to see it).

NOTE 3:Since I'm not really into scrolls, I might have missed a few. And I'm not really sure about the rate for the "Potential" scroll either... (since I use the ones from events most of the time, I don't clearly remember the rate of success and the rate of destruction)

MapleStory Hyper Skills

Only Jett, Zen/Dragon Warrior, and Hayato & Kanna doesn't have theirs!

Zero doesn't have Hyper Skills because he's a god.

Hyper Skills are skills you get starting at level 140. There are 3 tabs of Hyper Skills, active, passive, and boost. You get 1 point once you reach the level necessary to get a new Hyper Skill in the corresponding tab (Example:If you reach level 158, you won't be able to put the point from the passive tab to an active tab). All Hyper Skills have a master level of 1. If you don't like how you spent your points, you can reset them for a certain fee (like medals). The more you reset them, the more it'll cost!

Neutral includes HP, MP, Fury, Crit rate, Acc, STR, DEX, LUK, INT, Physical Def, Magic Def, Jump, and Movement speed.

Booster includes boosts to skills from 2nd and 4th job

Attack skills include 2 trademark skills exclusive to every class

Faction skill is a skill that power up every character in the party that is of the same faction as you (Explorers & Explorers, Resistance & Resistance ETC...)

MapleStory Battle Quests

What are Battle Quests? They're almost like Party Quests, except the only goal is to... KILL! ... or survive...

You can access these Battle Quests from the Dimensional Mirror found in most cities. Battle Quests are also called Battle Contents.

You can enter most of them alone. Excluding Nett and Alien Visitor.
Read how to succeed at these things for maximum rewards!

Azwan
Requirement:Level 40+
Reward:Coins

There are 4 modes in Azwan. Attack, Occupy, Defense, and Supply. And there are 4 difficulties too. Easy, Normal, Hard, and Hell.

Attack. The goal of this mode is to destroy the big statue at the end.

Occupy. Not sure what's the difference between this mode and Attack mode...

Defense. You must defend a Cygnus Crystal until you kill X amount of balistas or until time runs out. If the crystal "dies", you lose.

Supply. This mode is for "training" purposes. Monsters drops Unagis and Mana Elixirs in this mode.

You get coins when you finish Attack, Occupy, or Defense mode. Depending on the difficulty chosen, you'll get either Conqueror coins or Emperor coins. You can buy 1 Emperor coin for 11 Conqueror or 9 Conqueror for 1 Emperor coin. You can also buy level 130 items, recipes, or even Azwan scrolls!

Cooking with Tangyoon
Requirement:Level 60-90
Reward:Chef Hat (Hat) (Level 80), Chef Apron (Overall) (Level 70), Good Cook (Medal)

The goal of this Battle Quest is to cook! When you enter this quest, you'll have a random recipe to cook. Depending on the recipe you have, different ingredients will be given for you to choose. When you choose an ingredient, you'll have to beat the food out of it for some time, you must do this 5 times total. If you fail to make a perfect recipe, you'll have to fight a trash bin at the end. If you manage to make a perfect recipe, You'll fight a pig at the end. Not only this but you'll also receive 2 chef certificates (instead of 1) and more EXP! If you succeed at cooking 3 perfect dishes (it can be the same dish 3 times), you'll get the Good Cook medal.

The goal of this Battle Quest is to kill wave of enemies on the right side before they reach the obelisk on the left side. There are 20 waves, the last have 2 bosses. You get 1 emerald per wave won.

Mu Lung Dojo
Requirement:Level 120+
Reward:Belts, Gloves, Eye accessories
NOTE:The rewards expire over time

This is just some boss rush mode. The boss at the top of the tower is what you should be after.

Dimension Invade
Requirement:Level 140+
Reward:Dimension Gloves (Level 140)

There is a bar at the top of the screen, should it ever stay in the red for too long, you lose. The goal of this Battle Quest is to survive while killing monsters to ensure the bar stays blue at all time. If you do well enough, you'll get a special box. If I am correct, this special box has more chances of giving you a piece of the Dimension Glove. You must gather 4 pieces to claim your glove. But it's REALLY worth it!

Alien Visitor
Requirement:Level 200+
Reward:Earring (Level 180), Ring (Level 180), Necklace (Level 180)

From a video I've seen, the only thing you have to do is kill. The faster you kill, the better the rewards.

Why should I play Monster Life?
Monster Life is a mini game, like Farmville (from what I've heard), where you have to take care of in-game monsters (more like, click on them 3 times per day...). These monsters can give boosts to stats, Mesos gained, or even discounts for the Monster Life shop!

Monster Life
In Monster Life, all you have to do is level your farm by taking care of your monsters or by doing quests. To get Waru, you must have buildings on your farm, then wait for them to magically make Waru out of thin air! The higher the level of your farm is, the better the buildings you'll be able to buy from the Monster Life shop.

Outside Monster Life
Clara is there to trade your easily gained Warus into coins for your use!

Jimmy-Jack is there to exchange your freshly gained coins for some nice loot! Potions for HP or MP, armors, even 60% scrolls!

Daily gifts
Everyday, you'll get a box you can claim. From these boxes, you can get Waru coupons or Monster Life gems (special currency). The Waru coupons can give 2000, 5000, or 10,000 Warus. Personally, I've never gained Monster Life gems... T_T

Every 10 quests, you'll get a Gem coupon.

MapleStory Secondary Weapons
