What are Battle Quests? They're almost like Party Quests, except the only goal is to... KILL! ... or survive...
You can access these Battle Quests from the Dimensional Mirror found in most cities. Battle Quests are also called Battle Contents.
You can enter most of them alone. Excluding Nett and Alien Visitor.

Azwan
Requirement:Level 40+
Reward:Coins
There are 4 modes in Azwan. Attack, Occupy, Defense, and Supply. And there are 4 difficulties too. Easy, Normal, Hard, and Hell.
Attack. The goal of this mode is to destroy the big statue at the end.
Occupy. Not sure what's the difference between this mode and Attack mode...
Defense. You must defend a Cygnus Crystal until you kill X amount of balistas or until time runs out. If the crystal "dies", you lose.
Supply. This mode is for "training" purposes. Monsters drops Unagis and Mana Elixirs in this mode.
You get coins when you finish Attack, Occupy, or Defense mode. Depending on the difficulty chosen, you'll get either Conqueror coins or Emperor coins. You can buy 1 Emperor coin for 11 Conqueror or 9 Conqueror for 1 Emperor coin. You can also buy level 130 items, recipes, or even Azwan scrolls!
Cooking with Tangyoon
Requirement:Level 60-90
Reward:Chef Hat (Hat) (Level 80), Chef Apron (Overall) (Level 70), Good Cook (Medal)
The goal of this Battle Quest is to cook! When you enter this quest, you'll have a random recipe to cook. Depending on the recipe you have, different ingredients will be given for you to choose. When you choose an ingredient, you'll have to beat the food out of it for some time, you must do this 5 times total. If you fail to make a perfect recipe, you'll have to fight a trash bin at the end. If you manage to make a perfect recipe, You'll fight a pig at the end. Not only this but you'll also receive 2 chef certificates (instead of 1) and more EXP! If you succeed at cooking 3 perfect dishes (it can be the same dish 3 times), you'll get the Good Cook medal.

The goal of this Battle Quest is to kill wave of enemies on the right side before they reach the obelisk on the left side. There are 20 waves, the last have 2 bosses. You get 1 emerald per wave won.

Requirement:Level 120+
Reward:Belts, Gloves, Eye accessories
NOTE:The rewards expire over time
This is just some boss rush mode. The boss at the top of the tower is what you should be after.

Dimension Invade
Requirement:Level 140+
Reward:Dimension Gloves (Level 140)
There is a bar at the top of the screen, should it ever stay in the red for too long, you lose. The goal of this Battle Quest is to survive while killing monsters to ensure the bar stays blue at all time. If you do well enough, you'll get a special box. If I am correct, this special box has more chances of giving you a piece of the Dimension Glove. You must gather 4 pieces to claim your glove. But it's REALLY worth it!
