The tornado of despair, Blade Master!

The Dual Blades are special in that they have more job advancements than most classes.

To create a Dual Blade, you must wait for their creation icon to be available. You must create a Dual Blade via their icon on the character select screen. You CANNOT use a normal Explorer for this.

Thief
At level 15, the Thief becomes a Blade Recruit

At level 30, a Blade Recruit becomes a Blade Acolyte

At level 55, the Blade Acolyte becomes a Blade Specialist

At level 70, the Blade Specialist becomes a Blade Lord

At level 100, the Blade Lord becomes a Blade Master

Pros
Can create a double to deal even more damage
Can blind enemies
Can poison enemies
Has IMMENSE potential
Can chain skills
Can heal by damaging enemies
Becomes stronger when attacking in Dark Sight

Cons
Dependent on mastery and skill books
Low survivability
